What Are ACBuy QC Photos?

When your item arrives at the ACBuy warehouse, the team takes quality control (QC) photos before notifying you. These photos are your last chance to verify the item matches what you ordered — before it's packed and shipped internationally.

Standard ACBuy QC photos include 4–8 shots depending on the product type. For shoes, expect: front, side, back, bottom, tongue, and box label shots. For clothing: front, back, tag, and any logo close-up.

You can request additional QC shots from ACBuy via the order detail page or through their support channel.

The QC Checklist: Category by Category

Use this mental checklist when reviewing photos for each product type:

  • Sneakers: Silhouette profile, lateral logo, tongue tag font, sole pattern/color, heel counter stiffness, lace holes, box label SKU match
  • Hoodies/Tops: Embroidery or print accuracy, stitching evenness, washing label, brand tag, interior lining if applicable
  • Jackets: Zipper quality, lining, embroidered patches, collar structure, pockets
  • Accessories: Hardware finish (gold vs silver tone), engraving depth, stitching on straps, logo stamp accuracy
  • Pants/Shorts: Waistband label, back tag, pocket stitching, ankle hem, any embroidery

Common QC Red Flags to Reject

These are definitive reasons to reject QC and request a return or resolution:

  • Wrong size received (different from what was ordered)
  • Wrong colorway or item entirely
  • Visible glue or manufacturing defects on soles/uppers
  • Broken hardware (zippers, buttons, clasps) visible in photos
  • Ink smudging or blurring on printed logos
  • Significant stitching gaps or unraveling threads
  • Obvious dirt, scuff marks, or storage damage
Minor discrepancies (slightly off pantone, very minor stitching variation) are normal in manufacturing. Reserve rejection for material defects, not perfection-chasing.

What Happens After QC Approval

Once you click Approve on your QC photos, ACBuy marks the item as ready to ship. The next step is creating a shipment:

  • Items can sit in the ACBuy warehouse free for up to 90 days — useful if you want to accumulate multiple orders before shipping
  • When you're ready, select items, create a shipment, choose a shipping line, and pay shipping fees
  • ACBuy packages your items (optionally with repackaging/stealth options) and ships within 1–3 business days after payment
